Another artist on Olamide’s YBNL music label has confirmed he is no longer under the label of the Shakitibobo crooner. Viktoh confirmed he is no longer signed to YBNL though he is still under the label though still joined to the label by a thin line. It seems he has the same working arrangement with YBNL just like Lil who is running his own label YAGI while still affiliated with YBNL.
He told Goldmyne TV that: “Lil Kesh, Viktoh, Adekunle Gold are still members of the YBNL team, Lil Kesh and Viktoh’s contract just ended, YBNL is like a family, we’re still on the label, Lil Kesh is trying to float his own label, so it’s like YBNL/YAGI, so Lil Kesh is not out of the label.” He also hinted on dropping an album in 2017 while he is planning on releasing his single in which he features Ycee titled Mad Jam. All through his two year stint with YBNL, Viktoh did not drop any album. He was signed alongside Lil Kesh to YBNL in 2014. Olamide in 2015 had said that he did not pray that artists stay too long on his label. He wants them to move on as soon as possible so when Lil Kesh left YBNL, he wrote on his Instagram that: “Let My niggas be Great 🙏🏽 @lilkeshofficial @viktoh_ybnl #YBNL đź’‰ we don’t raise no fool .. No toy soldiers around me independent niggas only that can get shit popping with or without me .. Ppl that can handle their own business .. Build ur ppl up 💪🏾”
For now YBNL is left with Adekunle Gold, the newly signed female artist Temmy Ovwasa and Olamide.
