Hudson High is now in session!
In a nod to her birth name, Katy Perryrang in her 32nd year Saturday night with a high school-themed celebration straight out of a 1950s sock hop. Clad in a sky-high blond updo and bold office wear, the pop superstar played principal for the evening as she pulled out all the stops for the epic bash.
In addition to dining at the school cafeteria (lunch trays and all!), partygoers were treated to live performances from a marching band and cheerleading squad as well as Elvis Presley and Marylin Monroe impersonators.
Beau Orlando Bloom was on hand to celebrate Katy's special day, rocking his very own athlete-inspired look that included an extra short pair of shorts and a red letterman's sweater.
In videos shared by fan sites, the lovebirds can be seen packing on the PDA onstage while Katy is serenaded with a rendition of "Happy Birthday." Hot for teacher, or what?!
BFF Kate Hudson (as well as Cara Delevingne and Jessica Chastain) also turned out for the bash, putting a fresh twist on the era's most iconic fashions with a Marc Jacobs skirt, embellished jacket and printed bandana tied across her head.
Major photo opportunities aside, the evening's most unforgettable moment happened when attendees took part in a massive game of Twister, as documented on Perry's Instagram.

If there's one celeb who's taken the cake across this year's Halloween weekend, it's undoubtedly Katy.
With the help of wigs, prosthetics and even a faux-secret service detail, Perry and Bloom fully transformed into Hillary Clinton and a Donald Trumpcaricature for Hudson's Halloween party Friday night in Los Angeles.
Katy (as Hillary) even had a pal dressed up as Bill Clinton, but she and Orlando opted out of the traditional couples costume shtick by having him do a take on the Republican presidential nominee.
The countdown is officially on to see how Katy will top herself next year
