Miley Cyrus Flubs Bill Murray Tribute Performance

Hannah Montana taught us "Nobody's Perfect"—and that still applies to modern-day Miley Cyrus.

The erstwhile Disney star performed Sunday night in honor of Bill Murray receiving the 19th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Miley's rendition of "My Way" got off to a good start, but it wasn't long before she flubbed the lyrics.

"I f--ked it up," she told the audience (as shown in this ABC News video). "I got too stoned. I smoked too much and forgot."

Fortunately for Miley, her A Very Murraychristmas co-star had a sense of humor about her forgetting a few of the lyrics. The 66-year-old actor laughed and shouted from his seat in the balcony, "This is happening right now in Washington D.C., the 51st state in the union."

At Mr. Murray's urging, 23-year-old Miley tried the song again, and this time, it was a success.

Bill, of course, knew Miley was a talented performer ahead of Sunday night's gig. In an interview last year with New York Daily News, he said the singer-actress "really just blew everyone away" working on A Very Murray Christmas.

"I had no idea that she was that good, that talented," he added. "She can ask me anything anytime...She really delivered the goods."
