South west governors meet at economic forum

The economic forum was held in Ibadan, Oyo state on Monday, November 21 and hosted by Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

In attendance were Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos, Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun and Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti.
Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo was not in attendance but was represented by Mr. Rotimi Adelola who is the secretary to the state government.

The governors dropped their political partisanship to discuss how the south west can progress economically.
Fayose has also been a strong advocate of the development of Yorubaland and has visited Aregbesola in the past to discuss the cultural and traditional development of the region.
