Her collection, full of gems, stones and other delicate finds, is trendy yet timeless. How did you get into the industry?
I walked right in after high school. I was working retail for 15 years before I decided to give the jewelry line all of my attention.

What's a typical day like for you?
A typical day for me is waking up at 5:30 a.m. to get the family up, yoga at 8 a.m. and then off to the showroom for some hustle and bustle until about 6 p.m.

Tell us about your office. What makes it unique?
Our office is my recent home turned into a showroom. It's where it all began and I am quite attached to the garage space where I still have my personal office. Our boardroom is my backyard—it's much more intimate this way. After all, we are by appointment only.

What are your favorite items in your office?
In my office, there are so many favorite items that I've collected along the way from my travels. But my all-time favorite is an art piece from Mr. Brainwash that says "Life is Beautiful". It's a reminder for me each time I walk by and always makes me smile.

The best part of my job is that I am exactly where I want to be, creating magic for all the amazing ladies in my life.

What's the most daring career risk you've ever taken?
The biggest risk I ever took in my career was to believe and detach myself from negative energy. Sometimes, you have to let go in order to gain so much more.

Who are some of your career heroes?
Diane Von Furstenberg has been my all time hero since her relaunch of the wrap dress in the ‘90s. Back then I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.

What designs are you best known for and why do you think you do it so well?
My most recognized design is surely the finger bracelet and body chain and I believe that I have mastered them because I know what women want and how they want to wear them.

What exciting things do you have coming up?
I have been working on so many different things this year. The Sweetleaf collection has been taking up a lot of my time as well as a capsule collection I am creating for a dear friend. I hope to be able to share the beauty with you all soon.

Today for lunch I had...I started off with a kale and goji berry salad but that lead me to pizza!
