Omarion's Ex Apryl Jones Claps Back After Singer Shades Her in New Song

Things aren't exactly on the mend just yet between Omarion and Apryl Jones.

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood stars continued their feud over the weekend after the singer unveiled a new song called "It's Whatever" in which he seemingly throws some shade at his ex.

"I've been only single for four months/ I'm just tryna get my swag back/ Probably try to catch a few kids/ It's like I never let 'em ride back/ Torn apart, catch me, I'm on the run/ Told my BM she can have that/ Put that on my daughter and my son/ Every night I'm having flashbacks."

He continues in another verse, "I must've did it to myself/ Look unfamiliar to myself/ You don't remember what you did/ I can do that all by myself/ I had to put this s--t on record/ I'm probably better by myself/ I had to put this s--t on record/ Just so you could get the message."

Jones clapped back in a number of tweetsthat seemed to be in response to Omarion's song.

"Full of Shit people rub me the wrong way...lol they just do," she tweeted, later adding, "As much as people drive you to be nasty...love..endure...let it drive you..motivate you..push you...and always be kind."

After several more tweets in which she encouraged people to take the high road and stay positive, she continued, "When you come too,and look back make sure you can live with the choices you've made....I wishnothing.but the best for you..."

Meanwhile, Omarion and Jones split up in July after "fading out of love," just four months after giving birth to their daughter, A'mei Kazuko. They also have a son, Megaa Omari.

The singer took to Instagram to release the following statement about the breakup: "This is the only public statement I will make about a private matter," he wrote. "After this, I will not speak on or respond to any questions or comments on the matter. I thank everyone in advance for respecting my wishes to keep my family life private."

He continued, "The beautiful and talented mother of my children for whom I hold the highest regard and respect, Apryl Jones, and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We continue to love and support one another and still share a common goal to remain friends while being great parents to our children."

Jones confirmed the breakup, tweeting, "Single.... the end...."
