What It Takes (and How Much It Costs) to Throw a Taylor Swift-Style Party: Inflatable Slides, Mansions, Photographers and More
No one throws a party like Taylor Swift .
The "Style" songstress has become famous for her annual Fourth of July party, and while there are definitely some DIY hacks you can do to imitate T.Swift's A-list style, sometimes it just takes her A-list salary to really get the Instagram-worthy pop. From caterers to inflatable slides, T.Swift spares no expense when it comes to celebrating America's birthday.
Here's an approximation of what you need and how much it would cost to throw a Taylor Swift party:

First things first, you need an oceanfront mansion in Rhode Island (any other state would do, most likely). Estates like that can cost nearly $20 million, so start saving your pennies. You can't get those jumping Instagram pictures taken against the sea without it!
Swift also has made it clear that she loves inflatable toys. Whether she was cruising with Calvin Harris on a blow up swan or hanging out with Serayah on a goose, the 1989 singer loves a good pool toy. Pool slide rentals, however, can cost up to $5,000 depending on the size.
When it comes to food, Swift kept it simple. She and the rest of her squad (as well as then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston) snacked on Rocket Ice Pops, Barefoot Contessa flag cake (baked by the girls themselves) and more relatively cheap eats.

There's no such thing as a Taylor Swift party without matching outfits, so make sure to stock up on matching T-shirts, onesies or sweatshirts. Swift's choice, the American flag onesie, goes for $159. Multiply that by how many guests she had and you can only imagine how quickly that total cost increases.
But as they say—pics or it didn't happen—so while there were plenty of Instagram pictures to be had at all of Swift's parties, she most definitely secures a professional photographer to capture the good times. How much does the photog cost? Anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 depending on the length of time needed and party size. Those not-so-candid candid pics don't come cheap.
Fortunately, there's one part that comes free: the guest list Invite your friends and family because you can put a price tag on relationships.
