LOUIS van Gaal eyeing up a return to management, the European giant that made a late move to sign Diego Costa, and Yaya Toure could be on the way to another Premier League side.
All that and more in Friday’s edition of Rumour Mill.
VAN GAAL TO RETURN TO MANAGEMENT
Louis van Gaal is on the verge of a return to management four months after being sacked by Manchester United, according to German publication Hamburger Abendblatt.
‘I IWLL FIND HIM ONE DAY ... I WILL BREAK HIS FACE’
Van Gaal has stayed out of the spotlight since receiving his Old Trafford marching orders, and being replaced by Jose Mourinho, but reports now indicate the Dutchman is set to take over at struggling Werder Bremen.

Following the poor start, manager Viktor Skrypnyk was sacked earlier this week, and reports indicate that Van Gaal will step in to lead the fight against relegation.
The 69-year-old Van Gaal has previously managed in the Bundesliga, leading giants Bayern Munich to the league title back in 2010.
The Dutchman’s ultra-orthodox tactics and strict standards could be perfect for a struggling side, but they could also ring alarm bells for under-performing stars like Max Kruse.
Any move to Bremen would go against previous comments from Van Gaal, who claimed United would be his final club after replacing David Moyes at Old Trafford in 2014.

PSG’S LATE PLAY FOR DIEGO COSTA
Reports in France claim that Paris Saint-Germain made a late move to add Chelsea striker Diego Costa to the deal that took defender David Luiz back to Stamford Bridge.
WHY THE PREMIER LEAGUE TABLE IS TELLING A FIB
France Football reports that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was desperate to bring in more defensive options during the transfer window, eventually turning to Chelsea old by Luiz after moves for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli and Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci all fell through.
The Fox Football Podcast returns for its fourth season, with Adam Peacock, Simon Hill and Daniel Garb running through the game’s big issues.
